Sarsfield

I'd like to congratulate the Steering Committee of the Co-op Multiservice Centre in Sarsfield for having finalized the purchase of the St. Hugues School building. This is a tremendous achievement for the community and surrounding areas. The residents can now look forward to having some services closer to home. For all those wanting to rent space in the Centre or to use the gymnasium you can call at 613-835-1661.

On August 19th, the Mayor and I presented a cheques in the amount of $7,500 each to the Sarsfield Multiservice Centre and to the Cumberland Village Community Association as part of the City's Rural Association Partnership Program.
